Verse 1

Show, O Lord thy blessed face, Comfort give and loving grace. For the task that we should do, Light and strength must come from you.

To the visions of the night, Grant the day of clear insight. Let our minds and hearts combine In a purpose solely thine.

Speak thro' channels of thy choice, And grant us to know thy voice, Knowing answer in thy way; Show thyself, O Lord we pray.
