Verse 1

Christian men, arise and give Words by which all men can live. Give a sword to fight the wrong; Give for every day a song; Give the stories of the brave; Give the news that Christ can save.

God's great Book is ours to share with all people everywhere, For confusion give men light; For their blindness give them sight; Give the comfort of a Psalm; For our stormy time give calm

Verse 3

Share God's word it is our task An-sw'ring questions that men ask. Set before them values true; With new truth their minds endue; Give a guide to point the way For the journey of today.

Verse 4

Stir your hearts now, let us give Words by which all men can live. Give the words that Jesus taught; Give a peace all men have sought. Word of God now let us share With all people everywhere.
