Verse 1

Rejoice all ye people your mighty anthems raise; The saviour victorious is worthy of your praise. All glorious Lord, thy triumph we proclaim, who from the grave has risen O praise his name.

Verse 2

Despised and rejcted the Lamb for sinners slain; Sin's death he has conquered by suffering death's pain. But now he lives to reign eternally, Angelic choirs re-echo with songs of joy.

Verse 3

Lord Jesus be near us, thy presence we would know; Thy face shine upon us where'er our feet may go. Show us thy love, to follow and adore, That we may see thy glory forevermore.
