About Us

The church engages in prayer and bible studies in order to promote holy living among members in and out of the Church so as to ensure and secure the blessings, grace, mercy and favour of our LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST.

The Church believe the only way to be saved is by accepting Jesus Christ as LORD and Saviour - following and practicing HIS commandment. Jesus made this clear in John 14:6 when He was asked the way to the Father. He said, 'I am the way the truth and the life, no one goes to the Father accept through Me'. Declaring Himself as the only true way to God the Father.

Faith and Believes

a) The Bible

The Church believes in the Holy Bible and accepts the Bible as the sole authoritative document that should be use to govern the doctrines, practice and activities of the Church. The holy Bible was written by men who were filled with the spirit of God. It was delivered to them through revelation from the Most High God to show humans the plans and purpose for our lives (Psalm 19:7; 2Timothy 3:16). It serves as a manual for human being.

b) God

The Church believe in the existence of a Supreme Being who created the universe (Genesis 1:1) that human being exist in. We believe there is ONLY ONE TRUE GOD (Deuteronomy 6:4) whose name in Hebrew is YAHWEH meaning I AM (Exodus 3:13-14). God is our Creator, Redeemer, Preserver and the Ruler of the universe. God is most powerful, intelligent, eternal, infinite, holy and perfect. God has a perfect plan for human beings, HE seeks to restore humans back to HIMSELF and restore all things to it perfect and holy state. (Revelation 21:1-5).

c) Jesus Christ

Jesus is the son of God who came to earth to redeem man from sin and destruction. He was born by the virgin Mary, suffered at the hand of his own people, was crucified, was raised up again on the third day and now seated at the right hand of God Almighty interceding for us (Romans 8:34).

d) The Holy Spirit

The Church believes in the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit to us. The Holy Spirit is our guide, comforter, counselor, teacher (John 14:26). The Holy Spirit gives us power and equips us to become witnesses of Jesus Christ in our homes, community, nation and the world (Act 1:8).

e) Man (Human Beings)

Man is God's special creation, made in HIS own image and likeness. God made man to care for and preserve the world (earth). They were created male and female. In the beginning God made them pure, sinless and were endowed with the gift of freewill- our ability to make our own decisions. Because of freewill, humans disobeyed the commandment of GOD (Genesis 3). God sent His son Jesus Christ to redeem man from sins and to restore them back to God.

f) Sin

Sin is defined as the act of disobeying God words or commandment. It is yielding to the powers of the evil one rather than God. Sin separates us from God and cause spiritual death. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that humans can be saved from the punishment of sin.

g) Church

The Church is defined as 'the body of Christ' (1Corinthians 12:27-28). We are one people with Jesus Christ being our Lord and King. We all have different gifts and perform different function within the Church yet we are one people with common identity. Some are called to be Apostle, Prophet, Teachers, Pastors, Healers, Helpers, Administrators, Evangelist, Workers of Miracles, Speak with different tongues. The Church is also the meeting place of the Saint - Christians (Followers of Jesus Christ). It is the place where the congregation meet and fellowship with other Saint; study, listen and discuss the word of God; pray and engage in other activities that brings glory, honour and power to the name of our LORD and KING.

h) Salvation

Salvation is a free gift from God that involves the redemption of the whole person. It is given to a person who has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, who by His own blood obtain eternal redemption for all who believe in Him or His name (John 1:12). Salvation includes regeneration, justification, sanctification and glorification. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

i. Regeneration: New Birth is a work of God's grace whereby believers become new creatures in Christ Jesus. It is a change of heart wrought by the Holy Spirit through conviction of sin, to which the sinner responds in repentance towards God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Repentance and faith are inseparable experience of grace. (Repentance is s genuine turning away from sin towards God. Faith is acceptance of Jesus Christ and commitment of the entire personality to Him as saviour and Lord).

ii. Justification: is God's gracious and full acquittal upon principles of His righteousness of all sinners who repent and believe in Christ. It brings the believer unto a relationship of peace and favour with God.

iii. Sanctification: is the experience, beginning in regeneration, by which believer are set apart to moral and spiritual maturity through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit dwelling in them. Growth in grace should continue throughout the changed person.

iv. Glorification: is culmination of salvation and is the final blessed and abiding state of the redeemed. God will one day appear and all who have believe in Him will be like Him and inherit His Kingdom where there will be no more suffering, only joy and happiness for everlasting. All will be awarded according to their deeds.

i) The LORD's Day

The Church believes that the first day of the week (Sunday) is the day of the LORD. It is on this day that, the Church meets to worship - (study the word, pray, fellowship with other believers, sing praises) God. This is due to the fact that, our LORD and saviour - Jesus Christ resurrected from the dead on the first day of the week (Matthew 28:1-10,) with power and might. He was given all authority in heaven and on the earth and at the mention of the name Jesus every knee should bow in heaven, on earth and under the earth, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the FATHER (Philippians 2:9-11).

j) The Coming Kingdom

One day, our Lord and master Jesus Christ will come back again to judge human being on earth for all that they have done or said. Jesus will separate the sheep from the goat, the righteous from the unrighteous (Matthew 25:31-46). The righteous will go into HIS eternal glory (John 14:2-3) and the unrighteous will go into eternal punishment.

k) Existence of Evil Forces

They are powers that seek to destroy Christians. Their leader is Satan. They battle constantly with those who obey God's word and hold on to the testimony of Jesus, in order to make them fall (Revelation 12:17; John 10:10). The way to overcome them is in the name Jesus Christ. Thus by the blood of the Lord, your faith and testimony in Christ - Jesus is Lord and Self denial.
